    Within the Indy Urban Youth Music Academy we believe that all children are capable. Our teaching approach is both genuine and fun, while providing rigorous instruction designed to help students achieve mastery.

What We Offer

On-Campus Instruction

Our Indy Urban Youth Enrichment program provides students in grades K-12 with programming for public schools. This is intended to supplement, not replace, a music education program. If a school does not offer music education courses during the day, an after-school program can be implemented as a first step, with the ultimate goal of providing instruction during the day. Our after-school enrichment focuses primarily on performance refinement, learning to read music, students creating their own musical compositions, learning to play selected instruments, and private lesson instruction.

Summer Enrichment

The Indy Urban Youth Summer Camp offers one-week intensives and multi-week program options. We provide a wide range of musical opportunities for young musicians that attract the city's most talented students and instructors. Whether it be through large ensemble experiences or one-on-one coaching moments, our summer camp creates memories that are sure to last.

Instructional Coaching and Professional Development

We offer customizable onsite or virtual instructional coaching delivered in a variety of formats. Our coaching model is specifically designed to empower teams of teachers and encourage collaboration in a cross-curricular manner. Our professional development sessions include research-based instructional practices.
